Missouri Tigers Tickets: Historical Overview
In football, the Missouri Tigers have appeared in 28 bowl games. Over a span of seven seasons from 1939-45, the school played in three New Year's Day bowl contests.
In the sixties, the program would enjoy its best stretch of football under head coach Dan Devine. From 1959-69, the Tigers reached four more New Year's Day bowls and recorded four top 10 finishes.
More recently, current head coach Gary Pinkel has been able to post an impressive record of 40-14 over the last four seasons.
On the hardwood, Missouri has been able to reach the NCAA tournament on 24 occasions. The Tigers had its top run in basketball under longtime head coach Norm Stewart. Over 32 seasons (1967-68 to 1998-99) on the sidelines, he led the school to 16 NCAA trips.
Championship Seasons
The Missouri Tigers lone Big 8/12 football title was in 1969. In hoops, the school has captured ten regular season conference championships. Missouri has also won the Big 8/12 conference tournament seven times.

Since 1926, the Missouri Tigers have played its football games on Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium (capacity of 71,004). In recent years, there have been several projects to modernize and upgrade the stadium. Led by wideout T.J. Moe and tight end Michael Egnew, the Missouri Tigers will be looking for a seventh consecutive bowl game trip in 2011. A conference showdown against the Texas Longhorns will be the marquee attraction on this year's home slate. Also, Missouri Tigers tickets will be available for home outings against Miami-Ohio, Western Illinois, Iowa State, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
