In just under two decades, the UFC has become one of the world's most popular sports. UFC tickets enable fans to experience a unique fighting competition filled with adrenaline, excitement, and plenty of action.
The first Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event was held in 1993. UFC was able to showcase mixed martial arts (MMA) fighting in a way that had never been done before. Competitors were able to use boxing, wrestling, karate and several other fighting styles in UFC bouts.
While a typical boxing match might consist of 12 rounds, UFC fights are usually three or five rounds. Generally, regular fights will last three rounds, with title bouts moving up to five rounds. UFC rounds last five minutes as opposed to the standard three minutes in boxing. Instead of a boxing ring, UFC fighters compete in a cage.
The intensity of the UFC competition has drawn many fans to the sport. In just a short time, the UFC has been able to rival boxing's top events.
About once a month, the UFC will hold a marquee card of fights. These numbered events are held in major arenas throughout the world. In addition to sell-out crowds at the venue, the UFC cards draw strong television audiences on pay-per-view.

Over the years, several UFC fighters have become notable figures in the sports world. Randy Couture is certainly a legendary UFC figure. He became the first UFC fighter to win championships in two weight classifications (Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight). Couture has gained enough popularity as a UFC fighter to branch out into some occasional acting roles.
Like Couture, Chuck Liddel is a UFC Hall of Famer. The former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion holds a 2-1 edge over Couture in the cage. After losing to Couture in UFC 43, Liddel came back to defeat him at UFC 52 and UFC 57.
