Bono of U2 even described Scissor Sisters as "the best pop group in the world" in 2004. The group opened for Duran Duran's reunion tour in 2004, U2 at times throughout their Vertigo Tour, as well as Depeche Mode throughout their Touring the Angel Tour.

Scissor Sisters went on to release their second album in 2006 and sold more than 288,000 copies in the U.K. during the first week!  They followed up this album with a sold-out concert at England's Wembley Stadium.
