The History of Leann Rimes Tickets
Born in Jackson, MS on August 28, 1982, Leann Rimes began singing when many of us were still in diapers, and by the age of 7 she introduced her talents to Dallas audiences on the stage in a production of A Christmas Carol.
By age 11, she recorded her first album on an independent label. Although this album was only available locally in Dallas, word of her extraordinary singing abilities quickly spread, and Curb Records approached her to produce a mini-album. Sure enough, by age 14, Leann released her debut album. In 1997, Leann Rimes released the album, You Light up my Life: Inspiration Songs; it hit the top of the 3 Billboard Magazine charts simultaneously: pop, country, and contemporary Christian.
Later that year, she released "How Do I Live," which became an instant hit and earned her instant star power. This single managed to stay number one on Billboard Magazine's Hot 100 chart for an amazing 69 weeks.
Leann Rimes soon became a double threat, as she appeared in a television movie, based on a book she co-authored. She accomplished all of this before her sixteenth birthday! After pocketing a number of singing awards, including Country Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and Grammy Awards, she also snagged a Lone Star Film and Television Special Award for Rising Star Actress. She has released albums consistently throughout the years, in 1997, 1998, 2001, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
