Heart has been rocking the roof off of concert venues for the better part of four decades, and sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson are continuing the tradition with their own rendition of the group's classic songs, much to the delight of Heart ticket holders. This duo has worked with a number of musicians throughout their career, including the original Heart rockers, but the current tour group is one of the best yet, according to many of the critics turning out to review the latest tour effort by the band.
Heart tickets offer a glimpse of what real 1970s rock was all about, as well as some of the power ballads that brought this group back into the spotlight during the 1980s.
A History of Heart Tickets
When the first Heart tickets were sold, Ann and Nancy Wilson were not even a part of the ensemble. The original musicians in this group included Steve Fossen, Roger Fisher, Don Wilhelm and Ray Shaefer. The four began performing as a group dubbed The Army and eventually took on the name White Heart, when Gary Ziegelman, James Cirello, Ron Rudge, Ken Hansen and Debi Cuiden joined the group. However, the band soon shortened their name to Heart, which is how Heart ticket holders know them today.
Ann Wilson was the first of the Wilson sisters to join Heart, after joining Roger Fisher in his band Hocus Pocus, where she met and fell in love with Roger's brother Mike. Ann followed the group back to Canada, where she became an official member of Heart. Nancy followed her sister into the group a little while later, after graduating from high school and spending some time in college.
Despite times when band members left and others ventured into side projects, the sisters eventually got back on the road together, and continue to delight Heart ticket holders today.
What to Expect from Heart Tickets
Heart ticket holders are treated to a myriad of hits from this talented duo, from their hard rock classics from the early part of their career to their magnificent ballads that paved the way for their comeback over a decade later. Ann and Nancy Wilson continue to perform fabulously, and though they claim some of their songs have come down an octave, the women are still sultry and soulful, never missing a beat.
Who Should Buy Heart Tickets?
Heart ticket holders are often followers of the band who have been with them since the early parts of their career. However, anyone who loves rock music will enjoy their Heart tickets to the fullest.
