His 2007 team stepped into the national spotlight after recording a perfect regular season. Behind star quarterback Colt Brennan, Hawaii led the nation by scoring more than 43 points per game. In the Sugar Bowl, the upstart Warriors were no match for the Georgia Bulldogs from the mighty SEC.
On the basketball side, Hawaii has won five WAC titles (2-regular season, 3-tournament). The 2001-02 squad won the regular season and tournament championships in the conference.

For football, the Hawaii Warriors play at Aloha Stadium (capacity of 50,000). Since 1980, the venue has been the primary site of the NFL's Pro Bowl game.
