Fans of the band Sublime have largely become fans of Badfish, which is a tribute band that picked up playing Sublime music when the band stopped. Badfish tickets are popular and sell quickly due to the immense loyalty of fans to Sublime's music. Badfish is named after the Sublime song "Badfish," which appeared on the Sublime album "40oz. to Freedom."
Badfish Tickets History
Badfish formed at the University of Rhode Island in 2001 and is comprised of friends and computer science majors who started playing Sublime music in local clubs.
Once these local performances started selling out, Badfish took its show on the road and started touring college campuses throughout the Midwest and East Coast. When Bradley Nowell of the original Sublime was killed, fans mourned his death and the chance of seeing Sublime in concert. Badfish came along and helped solve that problem for fans, and in 2008, Badfish was nominated at the Boston Music Awards for Best Tribute Act.
With numerous national tours under their belts now, Badfish tickets are still a hot commodity, as Sublime fans everywhere vie for a chance to hear their favorite Sublime songs performed by this incredible tribute band.
Band members include Pat Downes on vocals, Joel Hanks on bass, Scott Begin on drums and Dorian Duffy on keyboard and guitar. Original members Dave Ladin on vocals and guitar left in 2006, and Ben Schomp who played the keyboard, horns and guitar, stayed until 2009.
