In the Pac-10, the Sun Devils have won three conference championships. In 1996, Arizona State nearly won a national championship. In the Rose Bowl against Ohio State, the Buckeyes scored in the final seconds to deny the Sun Devils.

In basketball, Arizona State has captured eight regular season conference titles. The school has yet to win a championship in Pac-10 play.
