Steve Martin Tickets

Steve Martin has earned a reputation for being one of today's most prolific comedians. His career has been long, and his biography rich and diverse. For Steve Martin, it simply comes down to one heck of a slapstick comedy routine. It doesn't get any better - or any funnier -than Steve Martin tickets!

The History of Steve Martin Tickets

Steve Martin was born on August 14, 1945, in Waco, Texas, although he spent much of his childhood in California. Upon graduating from college, Steve Martin began working on a number of television programs, including The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, The Glen Campbell Hour, and the Sonny & Cher Show, where he wrote material and performed once in a while.

Martin moved to Canada in the late 1960s, where he sold his first Steve Martin tickets and performed standup and worked on the syndicated television series, Half the George Kirby Comedy Hour. He soon began opening for a number of rock performers. A few years later, Steve Martin began re-developing his image and soon reappeared (with his white hair, mind you) as a clean-cut conservative who served up sharp performances that were a welcomed change from the usual silly comedy routines of that time that were little more than garden-variety shtick.

After earning his name on the comedy circuit, Steve Martin enjoyed appearances on Saturday Night Live. His debut comedy album, Let's Get Small, immediately catapulted him into super stardom. After spending the next few years making films (The Jerk, 1978) and releasing more albums (A Wild and Crazy Guy, 1978), he slowly abandoned his standup career, making Steve Martin tickets a rarity.

In 1984, his performance, All of Me, and his role in the 1987's hit film, Roxanne, reenergized his career, and soon he appeared in a number of films, including dramatic performances.

Steve Martin Tickets: What to Expect

Since the 1970s, Steve Martin has enjoyed one of the most successful standup comedy routines in America, and he has subsequently enjoyed a hugely successful career that included everything from platinum records, sold-out arena concerts and movie stardom.

Steve Martin Tickets: Who Should Attend?

From his initial success in the standup comedy circuit to his wildly popular movie comedy and dramatic performances, Steve Martin has proven himself to be a versatile comedian who is willing to update and change his image to suit the time and circumstance. A night with Steve Martin tickets as a standup comedian is sure to include his famous personas and his sharp, slapstick comedy routine. In short, Steve Martin tickets continue to open the doors to a comedic genius - and will likely do so well into the future!
