Shinedown Tickets

While their first album was titled Leave a Whisper, Shinedown has its fans shouting!  Releasing hits since their inception in 2001, Shinedown, which originally came from Jacksonville, Florida, features Barry Kerch on drums, Brent Smith on vocals, Eric Bass on the bass and Zach Myers on lead guitar.

The History of Shinedown Tickets

Shinedown released their debut album in 2003, entitled Leave a Whisper. This album featured many acclaimed tracks, including "Fly from the Inside" and "Burning Bright." This album also featured the popular Lynyrd Skynyrd cover, "Simple Man." Shinedown then released a live DVD of their album called Live from the Inside.

Shinedown followed up their debut album with Us and Them in 2005. Both albums received both critical and commercial success. This album produced three popular singles, including "Save Me," "I Dare You" and "Heroes." "Save Me" remained on top of the rock charts for 12 weeks.

In 2008, Shinedown released their third album, The Sound of Madness. This album was highly anticipated, as it featured Grammy award-winning producer, Rob Cavallo. A deluxe edition, with three extra tracks, was also released in a digital format. They earned a second number-one spot on the rock charts with their single, "Devour." Their second released single, "Second Chance," has been their biggest success to date. They also received a top-ten spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Devour."

The Sound of Madness spent 120 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 chart, ending in late October 2010.

Overall, Shinedown has released 10 albums, which include live albums and soundtrack contributions. They also have released several concert DVDs and documentaries.

Shinedown Tickets: What to Expect

Shinedown is often said to be a "melodic hard rock" band that owes much of its flavor to the grunge bands of the early 1990s. Shinedown has been compared to Nickelback, Alice in Chains and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Shinedown at, times, features dark music, while at other times is clearly reflective of classic, Southern rock.

The Sound of Madness features emotional, often politically charged, songs, as evident in their single, "Devour," which was a protest to George Bush and the Iraq War.

Who Should Buy Shinedown Tickets?

Whether you have been a fan since 2001, or your political views align with the band, Shinedown tickets give you a night of music that can lead you from the darkness to the Southern light.  Hard rock fans of all ages would appreciate a night of melodic entertainment with Shinedown tickets.  However, those who enjoy music that has a message will have their ears and minds entertained at a Shinedown concert too.
